Alice Faye Ellis, age 83, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on June 27, 1940 to the late Darrell & Evelyn Todd Smith.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond T. Ellis, Sr.

She is survived by her children, Amanda Britt (Luther) and Don Britt (Susan); her stepdaughter, Tammy Ellis Coleman (Johnny); her grandchildren: Danielle Coleman (Tron Brooks), Megan Coleman Scott (Arron), Bethany Ellis, Priscilla Eveans (Mike), Harley Carter, Mindy Carter, Trent McDougald (Kenzie), Travis Britt (Rebecca), and Jared Britt; 15 great-grandchildren; her sister, Elizabeth Bruce; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023, at 3:00 PM at Floyd Memory Gardens, 3720 Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
