Ms. Alice K. Collins, age 73, passed away Friday, July 05, 2013 at Southeastern Health. She was born on February 29, 1940 in Robeson County to the late A. Rupert Collins, Sr. and the late Emily O'Neal Collins. She was a teacher for the Public Schools of Robeson County. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, A. Rupert Collins, Jr., Rev. Tom Collins, David O. Collins, and Daniel V. Collins, and her sisters, Dixie C. Rentz and Tibby Coker Collins. She is survived by seven nieces, Libbey C. Inabnit, Kerry C. Floyd, Mary C. Dean, Susan R. Sparrow, Alice Rentz, Michele C. Phelps, and Traci N. Collins; nine nephews, David Rentz, Rupert Rentz, Irby Rentz, Tom Collins, Tim Collins, Steve Collins, Pat Collins, Shawn Collins, and Mark Collins; nineteen great-nieces and great-nephews; six great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; three sisters-in-law, Mrs. A. Rupert Collins, Mrs. Tom Collins, and Mrs. David Collins; and special friend, Adelaide Shoemaker.
