Alice Lynn Bissell, age 50, of Lumberton, passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. She was born in Robeson County on September 22, 1961.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Jewel Bissell.

She is survived by a daughter, Jill Bissell-Bruce and husband, Richard, of Lumberton; one brother, Billy Martin of Charleston, SC; one sister, Rita Batten of Lumberton; a nephew, Brad Thompson of Lumberton; a great-nephew, Seth Thompson of Lumberton and a great-aunt, Gayle Bryan of Bladenboro.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 2:00PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Evangelist Donald Rabon officiating. Burial will follow at Floyd Memory Gardens in Lumberton. A time of visitation will be held prior to the funeral service from 12:00-2:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton.
