Mr. Alex Gennear Floyd, age 85 of Lumberton passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Golden Living Center in Lumberton.

A Graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont at 3:00 PM

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

Preceded in death by Parents, Goba Floyd and Ethel Daniels Floyd, his wife Mary Mildred Floyd, two brothers, Eugene Floyd and Carl Floyd, a sister, Barbara Rose Floyd.

He is survived by a daughter, Judy Ann Floyd Peterson and husband James of Whiteville, NC; a grandson, Bruce Floyd Peterson and wife Michelle of Lumberton, NC; two great-grandchildren, Dylan and Jessica Peterson also of Lumberton, NC
