Alesia June Priest Cox, 58, of Lumberton, NC, died Monday, October 11, 2021, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on June 24, 1963. She worked as a registered nurse for more than 30 years and was a bright light in everyone's life that she touched.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Priest, and a cousin, Drina K. Byrd.

She is survived by her mother, Mamie Allen Priest; a daughter, Mia Bourchier and husband Cody of Raeford, NC; her special cousins: Garrett Mercer, Angela Mercer, Corey Allen, and Christy Fowler; two aunts, Carolyn Mercer and Edna Edwards; and an uncle, Jody Allen and wife Judy.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021, at 12:00 PM on Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton, NC with Rev. Mike Bowen officiating.
