Mr. Albert Forest Britt, Jr. "Jerry", age 80 of Orrum, NC passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family on Friday, April 3, 2026.

Mr. Britt was born August 2, 1945 to the late Albert Forest Britt, Sr. and Christine Stone Britt. He retired from Contempora Fabrics and was a member of Broadridge Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sue Stone Britt, of the home: son, Chris Britt (Mandy) of Orrum, NC; daughter, Suzanne Britt Jackson (Derek) of Lumberton, NC; sisters, Brenda Graham (William Paul); Cynthia McCormack (Mac) and Cathy Wilson (Gary); grandson, Tanner Jackson; and several nieces, nephews and other family members.

Jerry was a U.S. army veteran; he too was a member of the Orrum Volunteer Fire Department and a Mason with the Proctorville Lodge. Jerry loved "home" Broadridge. If you ever passed Broadridge Road you would see him on his golfcart, ranger, or simply sitting outside rocking and waving at every car that passed. He will be remembered for his contagious smile, his outgoing personality, and love for life.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to, Broadridge Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, St. Jude Children's Hospital or charity of choice.

The family will receive friends Monday, April 6, 2026 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Floyd Mortuary and Crematory. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at Broadridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
