Alan Reece Prevatt, 51, of Fairmont, NC, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024.

Whether you knew him as "Lola", "Mutt", "Diva" or just "Alan", he will be remembered as someone who loved every person that he ever met, and just loved life to the fullest. He will be loved and missed by all those that knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie Prevatt, Jr. and Lenora Ann Lashley; a brother, Michael D. Prevatt; and a sister-in-law, Beverly Prevatt.

He is survived by his brothers, Bennett Prevatt of St. Pauls, NC and Lonnie Dale Prevatt and wife Becky and James N. Prevatt, all of Lumberton, NC; a sister, Barbara Carroll of Lumberton, NC; a whole host of nieces, nephews, great-nephews, great-nieces, including a special nephew, Corey Prevatt; and two fur babies, Lillie and Annabelle.

The family would like to acknowledge special friends, Tanner, Matt, and Josh, for all they have done to help care for Alan.

The visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. in Lumberton. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. Burial will be at Floyd Memory Gardens in Lumberton, NC.
