Ms. Ala Mae Taylor, age 92, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015. She was born in Robeson County on June 13, 1922 to the late Anderson and Sallie Taylor. She was formerly employed with Southeastern Regional Medical Center as a greeter. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Jay Taylor. She is survived by two sisters, Sadie Little of Montgomery, AL and Dorothy Inman of St. Pauls, NC, and a host of nieces and nephews. A time of visitation will take place prior to the service on Saturday, March 14, 2015, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Ten Mile Baptist Church. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM at Ten Mile Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
