AL Jennings "Tom" Jacobs, age 80, of Fairmont, NC, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at his home. He was born December 1, 1940 in Robeson County, NC to the late Luther Jacobs and Ida Lee Jacobs.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Hunt Jacobs; a son, Tommy Jacobs, Jr; two brothers, Howard Lynn Jacobs and Joe Jacobs; and a sister, Carolyn Lee.

He is survived by a daughter, Michelle Jacobs of Fairmont, NC; two sons, James H. Jacobs (Kim) of Fairmont, NC and Alan Michael Hunt (Brittany) of Lumberton, NC; a nephew, Howard Lynn Jacobs, Jr. of Fairmont, NC; three brothers: Leon Jacobs and wife Connie of Prospect, NC, Kenford Jacobs of Florida, and Carson Jacobs of Lumberton, NC; four sisters: Cathy Jacobs of KY., Shirley Jacobs of Fairmont, NC, Brenda Jacobs and husband Donnie of Rennert, NC, and Phyllis Ann Jacobs and husband Edward of Lumberton, NC; seven grandchildren: Sierra Jacobs, James Willard Jacobs, Mariah Hunt, Rylan Hunt, Alana Hunt, Jackie Lee Phillips, and Elaine Phillips; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Visitation will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services, 1549 Marion Stage Road in Fairmont, NC.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 21, 2021, at 3:00 PM at New Bethel Holiness Church Cemetery.
