Ms. Agnes Mary Alvis, age 93, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Southeastern Hospice House of Lumberton. She was born on September 9, 1920 in New Orleans, LA to the late Frank Milazzo and Alvina Jones Milazzo. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Stephen Alvis. She is survived by a son, Glen Alvis and wife, Patricia, of Fairmont, and several nieces and nephews.
