Ms. Adell Brooks Clark, age 85, of Fairmont passed away Friday, March 27, 2015 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 2:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel. Burial will follow in Lumbee Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday, March 30, 2015 from 7-9PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont. She was born October 23, 1929 in Robeson County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jake and Ada Brooks; her husband, Pete "Clayton" Clark; two sons, William "Billy" Moreno and Robert "Louis" Moreno ;two brothers, Steven and JC Brooks. Ms. Clark is survived by four daughters, Foncine Hunt, Dolores Moreno Hunt and husband Robert, and Cynthia Moreno Freeman all of Lumberton, and Ladell "Kelly" Moore and husband Charlie of Lake Waccamaw; three sons, David Louis Moreno and wife Dianne of Fairmont, Stephen Marty Elvrum of Lumberton, and Danny Elvrum and wife Onita of Fairmont; three sisters, Myrna Britt, Pauline Brooks Jones, and Virginia Emmanuel all of Lumberton; twenty grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; and ten great-great grandchildren.
