Aaron Michael Grant, age 29, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024, in Lumberton, NC. He was born to Kenneth "Kenny" Wayne Grant and Mary Ann Herring on June 15, 1994.

He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Wendell and Mamie Grant, and his aunt, Kimberly Grant Davis.

He is survived by his father, Kenneth "Kenny" Wayne Grant of Lumberton, NC; his mother, Mary Ann Herring of Lumberton, NC; his sister, Kaitlyn Grant of Lumberton, NC; his special nephew, Jaxon Elliot Jones of Lumberton, NC; his grandmother, Kathy Herring of Lumberton, NC; his grandfather, Leonard Herring of Lumberton, NC; his uncles, George Butler (Kathy) of Clarendon, NC, William Davis of Lumberton, NC and Edgar Grant (Ronna) of Lumberton, NC; his aunts, Sherry Davis of Lumberton, NC and Tammy Grant of Lumberton, NC; and his cousins, Cadmen Davis, Andrew Herring, Jared Davis, Kayla Grant, Miranda Blackburn, Lindsey Grant, Mason Pittman, Steven "Chucky" Stone, Amber Davis, and Morgan Cox, all of Lumberton, NC, and Brett Butler of Jacksonville, FL, and Maggie Butler, Allison Butler, and Koty Ward, all of Clarendon, NC.

Aaron was hardworking and very smart in all of his endeavors. After graduating from Lumberton High School, Aaron had a career in industrial maintenance. In his spare time, he loved working out, spending time with his family whom he loved dearly, playing video games with his cousins, and pulling for his Tar Heels.

A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton, NC.

The funeral service will be held Friday, April 12, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Full Gospel Tabernacle Church, 104 Carolina Avenue in Lumberton, NC. Burial will follow the service at New Hollywood Cemetery, 401 Hollywood Drive in Lumberton, NC.
