Mr. Alexander Martin Collins, Sr., age 77, of Fairmont, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020, at MUSC Health in Florence.  He was born in Robeson County, NC on February 3, 1943 to the late Hugh George Collins and the late Grace Elizabeth Martin Collins.

He was a CPA and partner of Collins & Kemp CPAs, PLLC. He was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Fairmont. He proudly served as a Shriner throughout his adult life.

He loved spending time with his family and gardening with his wife.  His love for the water would find him at the beach with family and friends shagging to his favorite tunes.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Hugh G. Collins, Jr. and his sister, Betsy Grace Collins.

Mr. Collins is survived by his wife of 52 years, Annelle Gaddy Collins of the home; his children, Alexander M. Collins (Crystal) of Lumberton and their children, Mason Collins and Brittney Collins, Andrew Collins (Dawnmarie) of Murrells Inlet, SC and their daughter, Mia Grace Collins and Tamara Collins Kemp (Jennifer Hickman) of Lumberton, and their children, Alexis Kemp, Avery Kemp, Alaina Kemp, Lennon Hickman and Hayden Hickman and one brother, John R. Collins of Lumberton.

A private graveside service will be held at Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont, NC with Rev. Carter McNeese officiating.
